Flip Flap Pets - Book of the month

I had seen the Flip Flap books on the shelves for years and never really fancied them, even though I generally love Axel Scheffler's books. Then someone bought Alice a copy for her birthday, so I obviously had to read it. They are actually really good. You can read the book to make the animals match or you can invent your own and their is verses on the top and bottom of the pages so whichever pages you open you still have a 'story' to read. There are a range of these books and they are definately worth a look!
