What can I expect from a disability session?

 

Our Sunshine Sensory disability sessions are an amazing opportunity for your child or adults to join in with activities in a calm, inclusive environment supported by understanding staff.

The wide variety of sensory resources allows children and adults to become engaged in the activity and experience satisfaction at achievement through engaging with their parent/carer.

​

Each session takes into account the learning needs of the child/adult and resources can be added or removed on request during private sessions.  Sometimes due to medical or developmental circumstances children/adults can benefit from a 1:1 session, this can be delivered at Pendragon Community Trust, Northallerton (please note there is an extra £10 room hire charge) or in your own home or venue.

Public Session (open to all children over 5 and adults)

Private Group Sessions, including schools and care centres (max 20 SEN participants)

Private sessions which can be tailored to users requirements, either story or adult songs.

PLEASE NOTE!

Venues beyond 20 mile radius of Darlington will be charged additional travelling expenses at 30p per mile.
